Brush Palette by Carolyn

Brush Palette

I recently found a wooden artist palette, already stenciled and covered in black gesso, in a box I had packed up when I moved house in 2016. Perfect as a background for the brush my daughter had given me after decorating. I sprayed the entire palette with Lindys Gang Moonshadow Mist Pegleg Purple Pete.

I covered by brush and resin pieces with black gesso. I added “lace” to the handle using a piece from the Stamperia Flowered Texture mould, again covering with black gesso. You may have seen this mould on ILMM Facebook Lives.

I used Finnabair waxes to add colour. Once I was happy with how my pieces looked I glued everything down.
