Afternoon Mixed Media Makers, today it’s my turn to share with you a project that you could recreate yourself in our Featured Tuesday series.
I wanted to use a couple of the New ABstudio Items I had purchased from the I Love Mixed Media website and I few items from the garden and a glass jar.
Hello, Carolyn here and today I am sharing with you my Design Team Member Featured Tuesday Make.
I started with a blank MDF Album Cover from I love mixed media and painted it with Dark Chocolate Impasto paint. I used the ILMM Screwheads stencil and texture paste to add a bit of interest to the tabs, then covered with the same Impasto paint once dry.

Good afternoon Mixed Media Lovers. I have so enjoyed making this project for today’s I Love Mixed Media DT Featured Tuesday! As it’s a 3D project I have lots of photos and a step by step to share with you as well as a short video. For this project I used a piece of wood I found whilst out walking my daughter’s dog. Even though I found the piece of wood on the ground in the woods, my immediate thought was beach and driftwood, and that the Seahorse key would be perfect for this project.

This project all started out with a little resin Stamperia frame given to me by Denise Williams. As soon as I saw it I knew that I wanted to do an altered tin so that it would be like the old fashioned photo carriers that people used to use when they were away from their families.

Afternoon everyone, I’m here, a day late with my DT Featured Tuesday, but better late than never.
So I have seen quite a lot of posts to do with dragons, so that got me thinking, but I don’t have any of those gorgeous moulds so I have gone with Dragon Eggs using a technique Denise shared with us a while ago making geodes. So here we go!

For my project I have used a photo frame I bought in a charity shop. I love going to charity shops, have a mooch around, see if there is anything there I can alter. I have not done anything to the frame itself, the colour of the wood is too nice to alter.
